The Government Guidance for implementing effective measures in education states that PPE will only need to be worn in a very small number of cases, including during intimate care procedures and if a child becomes unwell with symptoms of coronavirus.

The Covid- 19 Guidance for Astrea Schools follows Government guidance and outlines:
- What to do if children, pupils or staff become unwell with a new, continuous cough, a high temperature or a loss of, or change in normal sense of taste or smell within the setting.
- What to do if a case of Covid19 (pupil, student or staff) is confirmed in the setting.
- Who should isolate if someone shows symptom’s compatible with coronavirus?
