The doors open for all children at 8.45am. We allow 15 minutes for pupils to arrive at school. In the classrooms, the children have different tasks set during this time to support their learning. The doors and registers close at 9am.
Nursery session times are 8.45am-11.45am and 12.15pm-3.15pm.
Children have a morning break in their year groups.
Children have a lunch break within their year groups.
Please ensure your child/children is/are in school promptly so their learning can begin, any late children will need to sign in at the main school reception.
There is a daily act of collective worship at varying times throughout the week. Parents and carers have the right to remove their child/children from religious education or from the daily act of collective worship. They should first discuss this with the Principal so that they can understand clearly how these areas are tackled in school. If they then wish to withdraw a child, this should be confirmed in writing.
Our assemblies have a range of foci, some are based on each of the school’s values; scholarship, tenacity, curiosity, empathy and pride. Some focus on British values or support our PHSE and RSE curriculum.
